Belton Lopes
Tourismusguide St Vincent
Belton has been working as a guide for guided excursions in Mindelo since 2018. It is part of the cultural tourism project for the Ribeira Bote neighbourhood. Ribera Bote was long regarded as a problematic neighbourhood on the outskirts of Mindelo. Thanks to local socio-cultural work, there has been a steady joint revaluation and new perspectives have been created. Belton himself grew up in Ribeira Bote and is proud of the developments today. It provides our visitors with an authentic insight and encounters at eye level.
Alexandro Rodrigues
Dance teacher
Alex founded one of the first dance schools in Mindelo. The doors of his dance school are open to young and old, beginners to advanced dancers. Alex loves dancing, which is reflected in the way he teaches: calm, patient and always with a smile on his face. Alex and his crew bring us closer to the rhythm of Cape Verde!
Éder Lopes
Dance teacher
Also known as "Kizombeiro" in Mindelo, Éder has been with us since the beginning and is happy to pass on his passion for dancing. He teaches Cape Verdean Kizomba to our customers in private lessons for beginners or advanced dancers.
Ilton Lima
Tourismusguide Santo Antão
Ilton grew up in the Paul Valley on the island of São Vicente and loves "living in peace", spending time in nature and hiking. What he likes about his job is coming into contact with different nationalities and letting them get to know his culture. He wants to show visitors how the Cape Verdeans lead a happy life in the most diverse places, far away from civilisation.
Hernany "Natcha" Delgado
Tourismusguide Santo Antão
Hernany started working as a tourism guide back in 2014. Nach einer Reise nach Indien für sein Studium, führt er seit 2018 nun wieder Touristen aus aller Welt über die grünste aller Insel der Kapverden. Hernany was born and grew up in the Ribeira Grande district of Figueiral and knows every corner of Santo Antão. With humour and verve, he introduces our guests to the beauty of his home island on tours and hikes.
Nicolin Monteiro
Tourismusguide Santo Antao
Nicolin was born and grew up on the island of Santo Antão. Nicolin is a "man of the mountains". He has always been fascinated by the beauty of nature on his island, which is why he is so close to nature. He has been guiding nature and hiking enthusiasts around his island for several years. He shows our guests the most beautiful spots on Santo Antão professionally, with a broad knowledge and a lot of love for his island and its inhabitants.
Dadu Costa
Photographer and videographer
All our pictures and videos are taken by Dadu, who works at the local marketing agency "DNA Produções". He accompanied us on our travels and captured wonderful moments.
Taxidancers
Dani, Flavio, Dario, Edmilson, Joseline and many more are an integral part of the Kizomba scene in Mindelo. They have all become friends and students of Alex and us and will inspire you with their lightness and joy in dancing.
Thanks to them, no one misses out on dancing and there's a great atmosphere. Without them, our trips would be almost unimaginable and our customers have another opportunity to get in touch with the locals, exchange ideas, learn from them and thus get to know the authentic rhythm of Cape Verde.
