As a passionate travel guide on the island of Santo Antão, nature is particularly close to my heart. It fulfills me to show visitors the untouched landscapes, green valleys and impressive mountains of this beautiful island. Every tour is an opportunity for me to connect personally with my guests, answer their questions and introduce them to the hidden treasures of Santo Antão.

Guide & office administration, São Vicente Island

I aim to introduce travelers to my homeland in Cape Verde. I do this primarily through guided group tours as well as for individual clients, where I act as a guide. In the process, I convey the diversity of the island of São Vicente, the fascinating history of Mindelo, and its cultural highlights. My main responsibilities include conducting the tours as well as the associated administrative tasks, including accounting and organization.

Passionate guide, Santo Antão Island

I grew up in the Paul Valley on the island of Santo Antão and love living in peace, spending time in nature and hiking. What I like about my job is to get in touch with visitors of different nationalities and show them my home. I want to show visitors how Cape Verdeans live a happy life in different places, far away from civilization.

Dance teachers Kizomba travel

We are a dance couple from Cape Verde and Portugal and started dancing Kizomba together in 2019. With different influences from traditional dances like Semba and Kizomba to more modern ones like Urbankiz and Afrohouse. I, Alex, was born in Cape Verde and have been dancing Kizomba since 2014, teaching since 2016. I founded the dance school “A's Kizo” in Mindelo and am one of the well-known dancers in the Kizomba scene. I, Sofi was born in Portugal and joined Alex in 2019. We use our skills to dance and teach our own style.

DANILSON PIRES

Dance teacher and guide, São Vicente Island

I’m a passionate dance teacher in Cabo Verde and run the dance school “Dança má mi” (Dance with me). Every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 to 10:30 pm, I offer Kizomba classes for everyone who loves to dance. Every Sunday, I organize a public Kizomba dance on the square next to the Capoeira school — everyone is warmly invited to join in and simply enjoy the atmosphere. I’m also always part of the o Ritmo dance trips team as a “taxidancer.”
