With passion, local knowledge and attention to detail, we ensure that our guests experience the unique culture, nature and joie de vivre of the islands in an authentic way. From carefully selected accommodation to tailor-made tours, we create special moments that will live long in the memory.<\/p>\n<p>However, tourism, reality and the everyday lives of Cape Verdeans bring their own challenges. It is important that travel is based on sustainability and respectful treatment of the local people, nature and culture. When you travel with o Ritmo, you always come into contact with the locals, as we work with them to develop the tourism offers.<\/p>\n<p>We work closely with local institutions, small businesses and family businesses so that they can also participate in tourism. You can expect friendliness, warmth, cheerfulness and openness. I do this primarily through guided group tours as well as for individual clients, where I act as a guide. In the process, I convey the diversity of the island of S\u00e3o Vicente, the fascinating history of Mindelo, and its cultural highlights. What I like about my job is to get in touch with visitors of different nationalities and show them my home. With different influences from traditional dances like Semba and Kizomba to more modern ones like Urbankiz and Afrohouse. I, Alex, was born in Cape Verde and have been dancing Kizomba since 2014, teaching since 2016. I founded the dance school &#8220;A&#8217;s Kizo&#8221; in Mindelo and am one of the well-known dancers in the Kizomba scene. I, Sofi was born in Portugal and joined Alex in 2019.
